Service msftesql was not found on computer ‘server_name’

Service msftesql was not found on computer ‘server_name’.The specified service does not exist as an installed service

This morning i was seeting up new CRM in my client place with following configuration

OS : WIndows server 2008 R2
SQL :SQL 2008 R2 with SP1

When i tried to install CRM I got the folling error “Service msftesql was not found on computer ‘server_name’.The specified service does not exist as an installed service”.Even though everything looks correct .

Tofix this issue i was googling for some time and got following as the solution a

Run > Regedit
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
- Rename MSSQLFDLauncher Folder to msftesql
- Reboot System
- Administrative Tools > Services > SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher (MSSQLSERVER) and Check START Status
